Sims 3 Graphic Mods
Developed by the Sims Studio (Maxis) and published by EA Mobile (Electronic Arts), the Sims 3 is the third major installment of the life simulation video game. The Sims 3 is an open-ended game without any definite goal just like its first two predecessors.

- So you can change your Sims 3 to the Windowed mode to fix it. To do so, follow the steps below: If you can access to the game settings: 1) Launch the Sims 3, click the button on the bottom left. 2) Click the Options menu. 3) In the Graphics tab, uncheck Enable Fullscreen Mode (or select Windowed Mode in Display Type). 4) Save the changes.
I know it sounds crazy for a multiplat game to have better graphics on consoles, but for Sims 3, I think this might be the case. Remember, the Sims 3 is targeted towards casual gamers who have little knowledge of computer hardware and try to install Sims 3 on their five-year old laptops. They have no idea whats the difference between a 'Geforce' and a 'Radeon', they just want to play the Sims on the same crappy laptop they send emails with. This would explain why the Sims 3 has graphics similar to a PC game from 2003.Now for the HD consoles (PS3 + 360), EA doesn't have to worry about optomising the Sims 3 for crappy laptops. Instead, they have the Cell + RSX for PS3, and Xenos + 3.2ghz tri-core CPU for Xbox 360.
This is far superior than the average Sims 3 fan has, so I guess Sims 3 will have better graphics on consoles. Can't wait for screenshot comparisons of Sims 3 for consoles vs PCs:PYour thoughts? Sims 3 has pretty good graphics and you need a decent PC to max it out with a smooth playing experience. The consoles could look better but only when compared to vanilla Sims 3 as there's plenty of mods out there to beef up the graphics of the PC version.Just because its developed so a low end PC can play (at the worst graphics settings and poor performance) doesnt automatically mean a game doesnt have high end configurations and effects. I have seen the Sims 3 fully updated with max graphics and I wasn't too impressed with the graphics quality. Can't wait for screenshot comparisons of Sims 3 for consoles vs PCs:PYour thoughts?PandaBear86The console version wont look better simply for th fact tha the PC is already more advanced in terms of hardware. Someone playing Sims 3 on a a 6800 (an old card mind you) would look exactly the same.
I mean why are we talking graphics in Sim 3, Has SW really stooped so low as to alking about Sims 3. Those graphical updates can also be included on the console versions.
I have seen the Sims 3 fully updated with max graphics and I wasn't too impressed with the graphics quality. PandaBear86Cant say i ever remember that happening with a console game, unless there's a new game released as a seperate 'expansion' pack (ODST like). The console version could look better than vanilla though fixed hardware means they can push and refine the graphics/performance, but PC will always have the advantage over consoles as far as graphics are concerned (with the same game).I dont know why it matters to you anyway, if you want the console version, go for it, i'm sure it'll look great.

If they include variable settings for the Sims 3 then it's entirely possible that its graphical peak (i.e. The settings meant for gaming P.C.s) will put the console versions to shame, while simply defaulting the settings to low so that people who don't use gaming P.C.s won't have to bother doing anything to adjust.
Hell, the Sims 3 could be designed to peak out on a mid-end P.C. Of the current generation and it would still be run by hardware capable of making any console soil its diapers. That said, I don't know if the Sims 3 will have variable settings.
But if they do I find it highly unlikely that they'll intentionally lower the PEAK graphical settings just to make it playable for those with outdated graphics cards. The Sims 4, the latest in EA's life simulation game, has only been out or three weeks and there are already a ton of different mods to change up the game. While most of the mods that are found on mainly focus on new clothing options, some of them are incredibly hilarious, or just downright useful. Here's a short list of the nine most helpful mods (well, eight mods and a mod manager) to help you get started creating the game you truly want to play.A quick warning about mods for The Sims 4, and any other game, READ THE MOD DOCUMENTATION AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING ANY MOD.
This should save you from a few headaches as you wonder why a mod doesn't seem working or even crashes your game. If you do make a fatal mistake and The Sims 4 just isn't running the same, simply uninstall all game files, and re-install them back to the base game with no mods at all. You'll be back to square one, but you at least have a working game again.
The Sims 4 mod manager Photo: modthesims.infoWhile this isn't a mod for The Sims 4, this guy will help you keep all of your other mods sorted out. The mod manager keeps all of the mods you download in a separate folder, and with the click of a checkbox, activates whichever mods you wish. No having to dive through game folders, no having to replace files that may or may not cause permanent damage, the mod manager takes a great deal of hassle out of experimenting with changing gameplay. Graphics Tweaks. The Sims 4 lighting mod Photo: modthesims.infoWhile not as extensive as say, the mods for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, there are a few graphical tweaks that can be made in The Sims 4. The first one, both indoors and outdoors. From the mod's description: 'This mod improves the lighting primarily indoors, and alters outdoor lighting a bit also.
Indoors will be brighter than the default overall and Ambient light is spread throughout so walls will not be as dark and sims facing away from the light source will not be as dark. Sunlight entering through windows is greater than the default. Also the SS Ambient Occlusion is increased such that objects everywhere have a little more contrast and/or depth; the washed-out look of the entire game graphics is reduced a bit.' Basically, the lighting should appear more natural. Things break less through mods Photo: modthesims.infoWhile it's fun to plot your Sim from low-level pencil pusher all the way up to corporate CEO, some of the more mundane household tasks can be a little dull. This first mod helps greatly reduces the.
At default, The Sims 4 features a 67% chance that an object will break, which is really high. By using this mod, the percent chance of breakage can be set at either 5%, 15%, or 30%. This lets your Sim spend less time tinkering away at the bathroom sink, and more time exploring more gainful pursuits like art or relationship building. It's dinner time Photo: modthesims.infoThis mod is pretty extensive, and offers a wide variety of options. By clicking on any group meal that has been created, a new command called 'Call to Meal' will be available.
When selected, players can manually select who will come eat from a list of those in the area. Once the dining guests are selected, the sim who you commanded to perform the 'Call to Meal' action will then dish up one serving of food for each person. The Sims who have been summoned will sit down at a place setting and start to eat. Changing Your Sims. Pregnancies can now last for either 1 day, 9 days, 18 days, and 30 days, depending on which version of the mod is installed. Even better, this mod will work with the mod that allows any Sim to become pregnant. So there you have it.
