Install DIOS MIOS. In order to play GameCube games from the USB drive, this step needs to be done. Put DIOSMIOS2.10.wad in the SD card somewhere.
Don't complain here.Piracy is NOT supported herePlease limit your posts and responses to modding your Wii. Posts and comments that imply, hint, or state out-right, intentions of piracy and/or any other illegal activity will be removed.
You won't receive a warning. The post or comment, if seen by a mod, will simply be removed.
- Jan 06, 2010 I don't really understand why you would want to do this. A WAD is used to install a channel on your Wii, and even if this is possible having it run from just the SD card seems redundant and a step backwards from what WAD's were made to do.
- During the 1960s, WADS staged two productions a year right up until 1969, when it broke the mould and put on three. Towards the end of the decade, WADS introduced some other public activities, namely its first garden fete in 1967, cheese and wine evenings in 1967 and 1969 (tickets were 5/-), and a WADS night in 1969.
Do it more than once and we'll remove your ability to post. Again, you will receive no warning, and ignorance is no excuse. To clarifiy: Piracy!= Breaking Terms of Service.Pirating intellectual property is not the same as violating a company's terms of service.

The former has a chance of landing you in jail, the latter could at most result in a civil suit with a fine (in the USA anyway). Piracy goes directly against the forum rules. Violating a TOS does not.Luckily this greatly simplifies what you as a poster needs to remember about piracy and this forum. Piracy is simply theft.
Don't talk about stealing something, whether you've done it, or are going to do it. If you have obtained what you're talking about in a way the law would consider stealing, you're violating the piracy rule.Talking about violating a company's TOS with your legally obtained equipment and software does not violate this rule. If it did, there'd be no reason for this forum to exist.Rules of Social ConductThis shouldn't need to be said, but No abuse and no spam.
And don't make us have to define either. If you have any problems or questions, feel free to message a moderator.BOTCHED MOD?Have you botched the modding process? To answer a common question on botched installs; NO you do not have to undo anything. As long as your Wii is still (mostly) functional, find some help, start the modding process over. You (almost) never need to undo what you've already done.Un-modding your WiiSimply put; No.
It can be done to an extent, but there are some things you will never undo. If you want to un-mod your Wii because your current mod job is causing problems, find a better tutorial, start over.If there is anything else you'd like added here, just PM it to one of the Mods. I'm a little new to the whole Wii homebrew thing, but I will try my best to explain what I want to do (and hopefully someone here can help me out)!I have the Homebrew Channel installed correctly (as well as cIOS249). I have been able to use WAD Manager 1.7 to install my WAD backups for VC and WiiWare titles successfully. However, the internal memory of the Wii is quite small and I have already run out of space. From what I understand, you can use WAD Manager to install the WADs onto emulated NAND (either via SD card or USB).

However, it gives me an error. I know I have to do something with the NAND and my SD card to be able to do this, but I'm not sure how.To be clear, I don't want to use something like SNEEK where my whole NAND is being emulated. I still want the titles installed on the home screen, but the SD cards storage will add onto the internal storage, and all of my WADs will be living on the SD card. Is this possible? Thanks!.
